Redoximorphic features in soils are associated with wetness, and the oxidation and reduction of minerals at the feature due to saturation and desaturation. Previously and commonly referred to as ‘mottles’, redoximorphic features are used in VT septic design to identify the seasonal high water table. Formation and aging of these features is not always well understood. This 1 day training will include lecture and soil sample analysis in a laboratory setting.
