This 1 day training will incorporate some limited lecture on soils, hydrology and VT septic design regulations in the morning, and field practice in identifying soil layers, texture, and redoximorphic features in the afternoon. Attendees will be led through a test pit evaluation by the instructor, then work in teams to complete 1-2 test pits under the guidance of the instructor, and complete at least one test pit evaluation on their own.
